We had no idea how much our lives would be impacted from our first Cottonwood Kennels puppy that we bought in early 2004.  Koda is extremely intelligent, loving, and eager to please.  One of the things we really wanted to do with Koda was teach her how to catch a Frisbee.  In the beginning we did this for a fun way to exercise, but she has done so well that we are considering competing with her.  A sunny day rarely goes by without us throwing the disc around.

Now that we are more educated about Frisbee and dogs in general there are special traits we are looking for in a puppy.  Sheryl helped us pick the puppy that was best suited for our needs (extremely out going, and confident with a high prey drive).

" Just a quick note to tell you my whole family has fallen in love with Kate! Most surprising is my husband. We have never had a dog in the house, and he really isn't a dog lover. But guess who takes Katie to bed, each and every night?!!

My daughter insisted that I take her into her insurance office to show the girls. I think I sold Katie's first litter of puppies there! But then, after most of my family expressed an interest in getting a mini Aussie, I am thinking her first litter of puppies may well be gifts!

I will have no trouble finding a puppy sitter, if I need one, that is for sure!

Kate helps us feed cows, sits on Mike's lap and looks out the window. When I have her in the pickup I put her on my coat in the middle and have her "down" so she doesn't interfere with my driving, and she is well behaved.

She is very smart, learns everything fast and is very entertaining and loveable."
